A US queen mattress is 60 × 80 in (152 × 203 cm), the most popular size in the US. Shared by two, that is 76 cm (30 in) of width each. In the UK, a mattress sold as a queen is usually a small double, 120 × 190 cm.

Enter your room and the nightstands you have in mind. The bed goes in the middle of the headboard wall; each check uses the numbers in the tables on this page.
All in centimetres. 1 in = 2.54 cm.
It leaves 89 cm at each side and 97 cm at the foot, and 61 cm is enough to walk.
Measured from the mattress; a frame often adds a few centimetres on every side.
The bed and two 53 cm nightstands, 8 cm from it, take 274 cm of your 330 cm wall.
A queen is usually paired with 53–66 cm (21–26 in) nightstands.
At 203 cm this is one of the long sizes, the kind suggested for sleepers over 183 cm (6 ft).
A queen is one of the long sizes, so length is rarely the problem.

60 × 80 in (152 × 203 cm) in the US. Its thickness is not standard: Sleep Foundation puts it at 8 in to more than 14 in (20–36 cm or more).
For most couples, yes; each gets 76 cm (30 in) of width. If you also share it with more than one child or pet, a queen may not be large enough.
Sleep Foundation calls it the most popular mattress size: wide enough for most couples, and a good deal narrower than a 193 cm (76 in) king.
No. In the UK, “queen” is another name for a small double, 120 × 190 cm (4 ft × 6 ft 3 in), far smaller than a US queen. The UK size closest to a US queen is the king, 150 × 200 cm.
With 61 cm (24 in) at both sides and the foot, a queen needs about 274 × 264 cm (108 × 104 in) of floor, before nightstands and the bed frame.
Queen is where size names cause the most returns: a UK buyer’s “queen” is a small double. Mark the actual width, length and thickness on your own mattress photo in SizeMarker, as in the picture at the top, and send one product card for WhatsApp or WeChat.
