Dimensions / Industrial & logistics / Pallets / 1200 × 1000
A 1200 × 1000 mm pallet is the UK pallet and one of China’s two national sizes: GB/T 2934-2007 keeps 1200 × 1000 and 1100 × 1100 mm and recommends 1200 × 1000 first. Heights depend on the build: EPAL 2 is 1200 × 1000 × 162 mm, about 35 kg and rated 1,250 kg, with a perimeter base for conveyors; EPAL 3, EPAL’s “new Asian standard”, is 144 mm high, about 30 kg and rated 1,500 kg; CHEP’s B1210A “UK pallet” is 162 mm, 28 kg and 1,500 kg. UK pallet networks take a full pallet up to 2.2 m high and 1,200 kg (Palletways).

EPAL 2 is filled in, with the UK full-pallet height as the limit; enter your carton and how many go on one pallet. Each check uses the numbers in the tables on this page.
Sizes in millimetres, weights in kilograms. 1 in = 25.4 mm, 1 lb = 0.454 kg.
One layer takes 6 cartons of 500 × 400 mm, stacked in straight columns, all inside the 1200 × 1000 mm deck.
Palletways: items should not overhang the edges of the pallet.
30 cartons at 6 per layer make 5 layers: 1912 mm with the pallet, 288 mm under the 2200 mm limit.
UK pallet networks take a full pallet up to 2.2 m high and 1,200 kg (Palletways).
30 cartons × 15 kg = 450 kg, 800 kg under the pallet’s 1250 kg rating.
EPAL 2 is rated 1,250 kg, EPAL 3 and CHEP’s B1210A 1,500 kg.

1200 × 1000 mm in plan; the height depends on the build: 162 mm for EPAL 2, CHEP’s B1210A and LPR’s UK100, 144 mm for EPAL 3, 141 mm for IPP’s 3-skid C1210, and 150–173 mm for plastic ones.
1200 × 1000 mm. GB/T 2934-2007 keeps two sizes, 1200 × 1000 and 1100 × 1100 mm, and recommends 1200 × 1000 first; a 2017 opinion from the Ministry of Commerce and nine other ministries defines the “standard pallet” as 1200 × 1000 mm.
Both are 1200 × 1000 mm. EPAL 2 is 162 mm high and about 35 kg, rated 1,250 kg, with a perimeter base for chain and roller conveyors; EPAL 3, EPAL’s “new Asian standard”, is 144 mm high and about 30 kg, rated 1,500 kg.
Yes. CHEP calls its 1200 × 1000 mm B1210A the “UK pallet”, and UK pallet networks quote full pallets on a 1.2 × 1.2 m base, up to 2.2 m and 1,200 kg (Palletways).
From 1,200 kg (LPR UK100, nominal) to 1,500 kg (EPAL 3, CHEP B1210A, IPP A1210) for wood; EPAL 2 is rated 1,250 kg. Plastic ones go to 1,750 kg dynamic (CHEP P1210B).
A revision is under review (plan 20220568-T-602): it would add 1200 × 800 mm and drop 1100 × 1100 mm. GB/T 2934-2007 is still the current standard.
UK buyers and China’s pallet pools work on 1200 × 1000 pallets; buyers ask the cartons per pallet, the loaded height and weight, and ISPM 15 marks for export. Mark the real carton and pallet sizes on your own product photo in SizeMarker, as in the picture at the top, and send one product card for WhatsApp or WeChat.
