A standard 1,000-litre (275-gallon) caged IBC tote measures 1,200 × 1,000 × 1,160 mm (47.2 × 39.4 × 45.7 in, L×W×H) on a 4-way pallet; the taller 1,250-litre (330-gallon) version stands 1,350 mm (53 in) high.
An IBC tote is specified by its base length and width — sized to fit a standard pallet — plus its overall caged height.

A spec table only helps if the buyer reads it. Many don't — shoppers routinely try to judge a product's size straight from the images, and wrong size or fit is the most-cited reason things get returned. The fix is to mark the real dimensions on the photo itself, where the buyer is already looking.
SizeMarker snaps dimension lines to the ibc tote's edges and exports at Amazon or Alibaba size, so the measurement is accurate and legible — not a guess typed over the picture. That answers the size question up front and cuts pre-sale questions and size-driven returns.

Per the Schütz Ecobulk MX 1000 datasheet, a 1,000 L (275-gallon) IBC measures 1,200 × 1,000 × 1,160 mm (47.2 × 39.4 × 45.7 in) — length × width × height.
They share the same 1,200 × 1,000 mm (47.2 × 39.4 in) footprint, but the 330-gal (1,250 L) Schütz Ecobulk MX 1250 is 1,350 mm (53.1 in) tall versus 1,160 mm (45.7 in) for the 1,000 L / 275-gal MX 1000.
The 1,200 × 1,000 mm (47.2 × 39.4 in) base is built to match a standard pallet with 4-way entry; in the US it is commonly quoted as a 48 × 40 in GMA-pallet footprint. Makers offer steel, plastic-skid and full-plastic bases.
An empty 1,000 L composite IBC weighs about 54–60 kg (119–132 lb) — e.g. 56 kg with a steel pallet (Schütz) or 60.0 kg / 132.5 lb (Mauser SM15). The 330-gal version is heavier at roughly 65 kg (143–145 lb).
A standard 1,000 L IBC is 1,146–1,175 mm (45.1–46.3 in) tall depending on maker — 1,160 mm (45.7 in) for the Schütz Ecobulk MX 1000 and 1,162 mm (45 3/4 in) for Mauser’s SM15.
Both Schütz and Mauser label the same tank 1,000 litres (275 gal): 1,000 L is the nominal fill volume and ~275 US gal the brimful capacity. It uses a DN 150 screw-cap fill opening and a DN 50 butterfly outlet valve.
Every figure on this page is traced to a named source, linked under each table. Standard sizes come from published standards and established industry references; where a size is a typical range or varies by manufacturer, we say so. Sizes vary by region, model and revision — treat these as the standard reference, and confirm the exact spec of the item you are selling.
